For over 30 years, the Tuminez Family has quietly supported individuals striving for education but lacking financial means, as well as those facing health crises and urgent needs in Iloilo and Guimaras provinces. Recognizing that education is the most sustainable path out of poverty, Dare to Dream Philippines (D2DP) was officially founded in January 2024 to expand this mission.
Through pooled resources, the Tuminez family has provided scholarships to deserving indigent students and extended medical aid, food assistance, and emergency relief to the widowed, elderly, individuals with special needs, and other marginalized groups.
With D2DP, we continue this legacy—turning dreams into reality through education and compassionate support.
More than 5 million people helped our community
We provide scholarships to indigent students, ensuring they have the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Additionally, we supply curriculum books and reading materials to underserved schools and libraries, helping to create a more equitable learning environment.
In 2024, D2DP has funded essential medical care, including dentures, corrective surgery for strabismus (crossed eyes), hospice care, and critical dental procedures. In addition, we have provided emergency medical aid to individuals with special needs and limited healthcare support for disadvantaged children and the elderly.
D2DP currently supports 29 scholarship recipients and 6 families, including elderly, widowed, and special needs individuals, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to live with dignity and hope.
D2DP provides curriculum and reading materials on an ongoing basis to 7 schools and libraries.
